I really like that you've added something between her hands, but I think it should be smaller/floating/glowing or made of smoke. My favorite part of this is still all the ghostie spirits swirling above the witch. Your color choices are good. A limited palette is very appropriate here. I'd like to see a bit more patterning (is that the word I'm looking for?) with the light coming from the cauldron... like the hands would be more brightly lit than the face, the face brighter than the bird, etc. The way you use your highlights could have a big impact in a piece like this.
