Becca's Alice Final
Hey all! Here is my final Alice painting. I had fun with this one, although I found it trickier than usual for some reason. It was a challenge to paint a white rabbit in shadow, and keep the foreground separate from the middle and background, but I am pleased with the result. Let me know what you think!

Sweet! I think this one turned out nicely. There's definitely no question that he's a white rabbit in shadow. You didn't want to hold Aerie up and see what she looked like in shadow? I like the detail you added to the watch too. Maybe in hindsight, Alice could have had her mouth open a bit as if she was calling after the rabbit. Instead it looks a little like she's just smiling and waving goodbye. It's not really a big deal.
ReplyDeleteGreat painting!
I love it!! Yeah I agree, the white rabbit fur looks fine. Something about the colors I really like that I'm having difficulty placing... it might be the yellow light. It has a nice glow. The fur texture is really nice too. Also I like that I can really see some of the pencil lines in this, like in the background. I just noticed his glasses all askew!!! Cuuute. (: Can't wait to see what you do for the pandora's box project in your class.
ReplyDeleteawesome, i wasn't sure what this was gonna look like in color, there are some very interesting choices here like the washed out sunlight and the colors of the watch that make this piece great. The only thing that I think could be worked on a touch more is the grass in the lower left corner, it just needs a touch of definition. Very nice.
